是不是脚疼?” moms asked, her voice soft and gentle.
Mom looked at her daughter, she knew that there was something bothering her. She took a deep breath and gently said, “如果你愿意的话,我们可以一起坐下来谈谈。
Mandy hesitated for a moment before nodding her head. They sat down on the bench under the shade of a big tree.
Mandy took another deep breath before speaking out what had been bothering her all day long. "I just feel so lost right now," she said with tears in her eyes.
Mom listened carefully to Mandy's words without interrupting or judging. When Mandy finished talking, Mom reached out and hugged her tightly.
"It's okay to feel lost sometimes," mom said softly into Mandy's ear. "But remember that you are not alone."
"Mama... I don't know what to do..." Mandy whispered as she buried herself into mom's embrace.
"You can always come to me," mom replied reassuringly. "And everything will be fine soon."
As they talked more about their feelings and thoughts, the sun began setting behind them casting a warm glow over the garden.
After some time passed by, Mandy seemed to have lifted off some weight from off of shoulders.
"Thanks mama... I think I'm going to be alright." She smiled weakly but genuinely at last.
"Of course you are sweetie!" Her mother replied with pride in those three simple words - 'You'll be fine'.
